Mihajlo Pupin loved his people more than a glimpse into the highest pinnacles of science, which is why he is the greatest inspiration to Jovana Todorovic.

"I worked it on a digital board, I worked it in two different programs, it means a Photoshop and Illustrator. In the Photoshop I did a background and everything and put it together at the end," says Jovana Todorovic, a student.

"Our students stood out above all else because they worked with digital technology, digital illustration, with a graphic board and a digital pen, Jovana showed high quality and I am glad that our school stood out in this competition," states Josipa Čok, mentor.
Miniatures of exceptional beauty in a 12th century manuscript book, Sabac students study in calligraphy classes.
"I am delighted to have contributed to our school being selected as the best, I chose to do the Gospel of Miroslav because the beauty of Miroslav's Gospel is known worldwide as an inexhaustible inspiration for further exploration and expression," says Katarina Barisic, a student.
In addition to the School of Applied Arts, entries from 60 other educational institutions have arrived.
"We are very proud of this award because only one high school had the opportunity to be declared the best, based on the submitted works, the quality of the works and the effort put into organizing an internal competition," says Nevenka Djokic, director of the School of Applied Arts. She adds: "The theme of the competition itself was inspiring for all students, there are many people, events and creations to which our country as a small country has already deserved its place in the world, but we, too, have how to provide and show, so this one competition is one way to identify these qualities. "
As a reward, the School of Applied Arts received a laptop, projector and related equipment. The aim of the competition was to inspire high school students to think of Serbia as a country with a rich history, tradition and cultural heritage, but also with a modern society that promotes European values.
