Diversity Comic Con is now a two day event celebrating multiculturalism in the comic arts. Due to the current health crisis, it will be held online starting Friday, October 16 into Saturday, October 17. This event is sponsored by the FIT President’s Council on Diversity. 

While the medium of comic books has been around for almost a century, the visibility and participation of minorities have been sorely lacking. But times are changing, and the causes and visibility of multicultural arts and stories are more crucial than ever.

The FIT Diversity Comic Con is an annual celebration of multiculturalism and acceptance of all colors, creeds, and genders in the sequential arts. Hosted and funded by The Diversity Council at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
